Home of Metal. A Look Back

ROX Network is doing a special feature looking back at The Home of Metal Celebration which took place throughout the Black Country, United Kingdom during 2011. It was put together, very successfully by Capsule. A fledgeling crew from ROX was there at nearly all the events and it was a BLAST!

In 2022, we're looking back at the original event and the people behind it – the organisers, the musicians and of course, the fans!

If you were involved in Home of Metal ( or indeed still are!) we would love to hear from you!

We're going to be putting together written as well as audio (on ROX Radio) and video features with interviews and our own original photos from those days. We wanna see yours!

Let's keep Home of Metal alive as Capsule work hard to make the exhibition a truly outstanding and permanent thing to celebrate Heavy Metal and its birthplace, the Black Country and West Midlands.
