ROX Radio now broadcasting PRX radio shows on our network!

ROX Radio is broadcasting PRX Shows from next week!

In addition of our usual shows, we will be broadcasting PRX shows throughout the week with new and exciting content including:

Coming straight from the United States' grunge capital itself, 60 Watts is Public Radio's weekly underground and alternative rock specialty program. Produced independently by Tony Rocky Horror in Seattle, WA (at the studios of C89.5 FM); targeting a diverse age demographic ranging from gen-x to gen-z.

Tony Rocky Horror guides you through a unique selection of underground rock bands, many of whom are highly underrepresented throughout the mainstream media landscape. 60 Watts aims to meet the need for more in-depth coverage of alternative music at large; often including many artists from the host's home region of the Northwest.

Explore the cutting-edge sounds of noise rock, grunge, hardcore, metal, and alternative from around the world

Loud, Drunk & Angry (LDA) is a  featuring the best in new rock and roll plus deep cuts, killer classics and interviews. LDA encourages listeners to support new music, discover classics they may have forgotten and to play it loud. Over a 3 hour period listeners will hear hard rock, classic rock and at times even old school punk, R&B and maybe even an old school country tune or two. Interviews, new songs and classic deep cuts each week. Loud & Proud!

Every record has a story! The records--and the stories about the records and the artists--from the 1950s and 1960s. A journey through music history!

The Ultimate Oldies Show is a thematic two-hour weekly presentation, highlighting the artists, styles, musicians, influences, and trends from the mid-1940's through the early 1970's. Hosted by Mike Ficher, each show features news clips, anecdotes, stories, interviews, labels, chart information and more!
