1. Let's start at the beginning then. When did the band form?
Alex_Y: “We started in 2009 in St Petersburg, Russia after I moved there and met Sydius. We existed for a year on enthusiasm, and then the project had a long pause and, in fact, we only came back to activity as late as 2020.”
Sydius: “It was a long process”
2. Who's in the band?
Alex_Y: “I'am – Alex_Y. Leader, vocalist, founder & main composer.”
Sydius: “Sydius, play guitar and fill every pause with shredding”
3. Were any of you in bands before?
Alex_Y: “Yeah, sure. )) I even went on tours with my first band too. We played some kind of sympho black metal.”
Sydius: “I played in all bands!”
Glam_Dickens: “Yes, there are a lot of.”
4. How would YOU describe your sound?
Alex_Y: “That's the most common question we get asked.)))))) It's hard for us to give a precise definition of our style. So we answer this question as follows: we play a mixture of traditional metal styles with classical music and electronic gothic. ”
Sydius: “A furry smell of an intriguing disaster)))”
5. What are your musical influences?
Alex_Y: “It can be completely different things: events, films, books, and more.”
Sydius: “Progressive and technical metal, jazz fusion and classic”
Glam_Dickens: “There are a lot of bands of various genres who inluenced me. But it started with KISS.”
6. What have been up to lately? any new stuff to delight our ears?
Alex_Y: “Yeah, we're in the middle of recording a new album. Our last release was at the end of 2022, but we plan to please you this year))))))”
Sydius: “No stuff to delight, sorry, only pain and suffocation ”
7. How about live dates? What have you been doing and what ya got planned for 2024?
Alex_Y: “This will become clear before the release date. We can't say anything for sure yet, but we'd like to do a show in 2024.”
Sydius: “Free as a bird”
8. Name something about yourselves that fans won't know
Alex_Y: “Sydius was a dancer in his youth.)))”
Sydius: “ Number of bacteries in my intestine))”
Glam_Dickens: “I do not want to share my privacy”
9. What's the most embarrassing moment you've had?
Alex_Y: “I performed drunk once.)) Then I watched the video and I was embarrassed, to say the least.)) ”
Sydius: “Discussing russian politics”
Glam_Dickens: “What is embarrassing for others can be not embarassing for me. Anyway, there were such moments, of course, but I do not remember.”
10. Do you have any superstitions? Any things you do before a show?
Alex_Y: “Yeah, there's not much superstition. I usually meditate before I perform.”
Sydius: “ If I notice any - try to get rid of it. Minimize traditionalism in my life”
Glam_Dickens: “Not superstitions, but important for me is to prepare all the stuff propperly and not in a hurry, and have some time to relax, kind of 'a calm before the storm”
11. Are there any musicians or bands you'd love to work with?
Alex_Y: “There are a lot of them. We're open to all of them.”
Sydius: “With all bands!”
Glam_Dickens: “Of course, but it's not someone in particular now. Time will tell.”
12. Any final thoughts?
Alex_Y: “Never surrender!”
