Something Black‘, which will be out on November 13, 2020 via
El Puerto Records. The album was co-produced, mixed and mastered by

GARAGEDAYS was formed in 2005 by frontman Marco Kern. The band stand with this line up since 2008.
Various demo CDs were produced, leading to “Dark and Cold” which became the band’s debut official release with Massacre Records in 2011. Their promotion of the debut included a European tour with death metal legends MASTER.
Following on from the success of the first album the band has worked hard with live shows, supported bands like EXODUS, ROTTING CHRIST, GRAVE DIGGER to name a few.
GARAGEDAYS was on tour with JAKE E LEE´S RED DRAGON CARTEL in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic in May/June 2014 to promote their new album „PASSION OF DIRT“ released 28th of April 2014.
In spring 2015 GARAGEDAYS supported U.D.O on his massive 3 month European tour through 13 countries.
The band worked on their 3rd studioalbum with legendary METALLICA Producer Flemming Rasmussen and got fantastic reviews from all around the world.
GARAGEDAYS just signed a worldwide record deal with El Puerto Records for their 4th studioalbum to work with producer Andy La Rocque.

Bio:
In
2012, Greg Wenk started looking for members and decided on Veritas,
which means truth, when looking for ideas. Deciding it needed a logo to
make it more recognizable, he found the awen symbol which means
creativity. Already having about 20 song ideas, he found original
drummer Adam Hartley after a few months of searching and auditions. They
began working on songs and auditioning for the remaining members. After
many months of auditions, they found Geno Alberico through an ad and
realized they had a common vision and welcomed him into the band. The
trio continued working on songs and searching for the perfect singer to
compliment the music. After many months of searching, Geno mentioned he
knew a great vocalist. The only catch was he lived several states away.
After sending him a few tracks and hearing what he could do, they
decided to move forward with Denny Anthony on vocals. Veritas began
working on completing songs by sending tracks back and forth and began
recording what would be an EP for the first release. Unfortunately, Adam
decided to leave the band for personal reasons, and the search was on
for another drummer. Denny suggested using Mark Zonder for the drums
since he had worked with him on a previous project. Denny contacted him
and he agreed to record the drums.
As
the EP neared completion in 2019, they began sending out samples to
create interest in the band and get people familiar with the music. The
songs were an instant hit and were played on several internet radio
stations including Rock Rage Radio (USA) and Mercury radio (Greece).
People started wanting more info about the band and where to get the Ep.
The problem was it was still in the mixing/mastering phase and the band
was struggling to catch up with demand. Forgotten Scroll set up a topic
page to keep new fans of the band informed about the progress and
availabillty of the EP. Once it was released it received many great
reviews comparing it to the sound of early Queensryche, Fates Warning,
and Dream Theater.
The
band continued writing music and focused on completing their first full
length cd. They also needed a better way to release their cd and make
it more easily available worldwide. They began shopping the music around
to various distribution companies with the ability to get their music
in stores around the globe. After talks with several companies, they
found a company with a common vision and the connections to make it
happen. In March of 2020, Veritas signed a deal with Amplified for
worldwide distribution of their first full length cd in physical and
digital formats. The cd has 14 tracks and was mixed by Daryl Bolicek at
Wild Horse Recording in Minnesota and mastered by Thomas Juth at Svenska
Grammofonstudion in Sweden. The cd released on August 28th, 2020
worldwide and has already received great reviews from Germany, Sweden,
USA, Poland.

In late 2018, LION'S SHARE
released a new five-track EP, plus its complete catalog - remastered
with new artwork - on streaming services and digital service providers
for the first time. The band have since released a few more digital
singles, some of which will and some of which won't end up on the
forthcoming full-length album.
LION'S SHARE guitarist Lars Chriss
says: "We had big plans for 2020, with a new album and everything. We
had just done our first couple of live shows in many years this past
March in Germany when the Covid-19 put stop to it all."
Both Johansson and Chriss remark that they have always worked very well together, and at this point it feels the most natural to keep LION’S SHARE as a duo, with friends helping out wherever needed.

Take A Glimpse Into Stark Reality With Abandoned Souls’ Video For “Blinding Darkness”

Canada’s Abandoned Souls released their powerful and emotional single “Blinding Darkness” on October 9, 2020 and now to complement it they are releasing a music video for it. While most of the band's music comes from a personal place, “Blinding Darkness” is
especially meaningful to the band. It was written shortly after
vocalist James Todd went through the heartbreaking experience of losing
his mother. This is the first new music they have released since the
last EP in 2017. The band explains the writing process for the single in
their own words: “We
started tracking for Blinding Darkness towards the end of 2019. Then in
early 2020 as we are all aware, the world changed. That put a huge
wrench in our plans so, like everyone we had to adapt. We already had
drums and bass tracked for Blinding Darkness. Derek recorded all his
guitars at his home and sent me the tracks to re-amp thru his amp here
at the studio. I also recorded all the vocals during the pandemic
shutdown. Luckily, I own the studio and had lots of time
to mix and refine the song during this time. It is the first release
from the new Foundation Studio and we are super excited for everyone to
hear it!” Heavy and aggressive but not sacrificing melody, Abandoned Souls have
been honing their craft since they started jamming as friends over a
decade ago. Staying true to their sound, the video is uplifting and
heavy and puts a positive spin on the dark subject matter. Citing that it has been a long road to get to the point where they are at, Abandoned Souls is
hoping the release of this single will tide fans over until the world
gets back to a sense of normalcy and shows can begin again. Hard rock n' roll fans will take a liking to Abandoned Souls, especially fans of Godsmack, Three Days Grace, and Alice in Chains. The video for “Blinding Darkness” can be viewed at the following link on YouTube.

EVOLUTION
This
brutal slice of OSDM sees drummer Jake Burden take over on main vocals,
with bassist Paul providing backing. A relentless onslaught of a song
shows the true depth of talent in Acherontia Styx, with Jakes ferocious
traditional death growl being equal in impact to those sung by lead
vocalist Grant. Paul provides his signature black metal screams as a
backing vocal harmony.
HURRICANE OF PAINS
This
slow grinding track features a dual vocal attack from lead vocalist
Grant Crossan and Bassist Paul Taylor, once again showcasing the depth
of talent on offer in the band. Paul trades his signature black metal
howl for low guttural vocals that provide a stunning harmony with Grants
style.
The full album is included HERE including the highly acclaimed "Scorned" and "Eyes Of Glass" and the stand out track from he release "As Above So Below". All tracks are suitable for pre watershed play.
The
album is available on all major streaming and download sites, with a
physical release scheduled to coincide with the eventual return of
live music performances.
