Also called La Gazza Ladra; This live double album is important to Marillion and rock fans in general for one main reason.
It marks the end of an era for the band as the tour from which the album was spawned was the last ever with original vocalist Fish.
Fish left the band soon after to follow his own musical path with mixed success and Marillionrecruited a new singer called Steve Hogarth for the next and all subsequent albums.
Fish never returned to Marillion so this album marked a great lasting legacy of the classic line up
Also look out for the video Live at Lorelei from the same tour on video and YouTube
The album was released on vinyl and cassette in 1988 by EMI. A CD version was later resissued
